Hello Dearlings, hope you are having a good weekend. Ours has been extremely lazy, which has been no bad thing. Lots of washing iroining and sorting done post holiday.
Post Holiday Blues may have started to set in as the nights draw in and it gets colder.
I'm doing some catch up reading and peeps have started to mention ye olde christmas/yule cards.
As usual I will be making a donation instead of sending Christmas cards. This year my christmas card money will be going to the MacMillan Cancer Support, see here for details of the hard work the charity undertakes,

Hope that's ok and ecards are just as festive!
Have a good rest of Sunday
lots of love

Date: 2009-11-29 07:41 pm (UTC)The McMillan nurses cared for my mum during her last days and they were so gentle and loving that it sometimes took my breath away; I felt like we were leaving her with family when we couldn't be there ourselves. They were also so compassionate and understanding towards us, never more so than during those first numb moments after she'd passed.
An amazing group of people. As someone who has been affected directly by their work, I'd like to say thank you to you for supporting them.
You are, as ever, one of my very favourist people :) (hullites never die we just get slower ;)
