I couldn't access LJ for a few hours today either. I thought the maintenance period was last night my time (Pacific TZ). *shrugs* Seems to be working again. Yay!

Nice thing is Hubby is getting wireless for the flat ( yes we are still in the dark ages here ), so I can be anywhere anytime on my laptop whilst hubby uses the PC. Can't wait!

Funny, all these "what I've been doing when LJ went to website heaven" stories. :)

Had just been on the phone with forlornhope42 and had sent her an interesting LJ link via twitter and then she couldn't open it and we found out that LJ isn't working right. We pretended to panic a bit because we felt so empty and bereft ("oh noes, we have to live our lives now! How do we do that again?") *g* and were wondering if we got the wrong date for the maintenance or if it was another attack on LJ. Since then the site is accessible sometimes and sometimes not. Wonder what's going on. Then again, it's been quite a while since the last outage compared to other websites, so I guess we are spoilt anyway. :D

As far as I'm aware the downtime has been pushed back to Oct 30th now, at 8:30pm PST.

So it was probably just LJ being crappy. I can't wait until it gets off of 6A's shitty servers...
